 Feedback Thoughts

Article 1 : "Seven ways to crush self doubt" ( https://spencerauthor.com/seven-ways-to-crush-self-doubt/ )

In this article one point came across which said don't compare yourself to others. I partially agree to this statement but a part of me doesn't because I feel that comparing your work to other peoples work can be a good way to evolve your work and make you push and do better. I think this also gives you a sense of awareness of what different pieces of work look like and how different people perceive the task at hand. In the second point they say abandon perfectionism with which I 100% agree with. No one is perfect and nothing is perfect so don't try to create and be the impossible. There is always a way something can be improved and changed so there is no such thing as perfect.

Article 2 : "Silence the critical voices in your head" ( https://hbr.org/2016/12/silence-the-critical-voices-in-your-head )

In this article the points which I came across which stood out to me were "Look for the positive" in which they say that amplifying our strengths is important. I believe this is true because It is a great way for one to improve upon a skill that they are already good at and become even better at it. While also looking for the bad is just as important because you don't want the bad to be a weight you have to carry. It's better to find the bad and make it good. Critical feedback is also very useful for locating the bad which can help you improve, but it is just as important to ask for the positive so you know what you can do well and you could do even better.
