 Technology tools are useful


As far as we know now I am a student of Creative Digital Media and saying so we know I will be using many different technology tools on my projects and assignments. In this blog post I wanted to talk about some of these tools and give my opinion on them and my semester calendar. This semester I will be using a tool called Unity3D in which  I will have the opportunity to create a 3D functional video game.I will also have to use tools such as bookmarking websites on google so I can find my work sites much easier. I am familiar with bookmarking as I have already bookmarked sites on my google already such as Youtube, Twitch, Twitter, Reddit, and others. I think bookmarking is a very simple, useful and effective tool to reaching your most favourite and important sites that you may need access to a lot. Another tool I am using is this blog that I am typing in as this will be a good way for me to get feedback and it's a place where anyone including me can go look at work. This tools is great because I will be able to see other peoples work as well. The online environment in this class is much better in my opinion because I have more freedom of when to do my work and keeping track of it on one simple class website.

 BETA This week I made my game a bit better by giving it some life. I created a terrain that I was happy with after I searched for a youtube video that helped me create terrain. I really liked exploring and creating the terrain and wish I could have made the terrain in my game be more of thing everywhere on the map rather than having some flat paths. I also changed my car as I was running issues where it drove backwards when i wanted it go forward but when I changed to a different car that seemed to fix it.  My Introduction Hello. my name is Endijs Frisvalds, I am a second year student at TU Blanchardstown and I am studying creative digital media. I am 19 years old living in Clondalkin a good 2 hour bus ride away from college. In my free time I love going fishing or staying home and playing video games while my pet cat Simba sleeps in my bed doing whatever cats do. ( He sleeps a lot and I mean a lot ) My cat "Simba" I enjoy playing a variety of games that being story based or online co-cop mutliplayer. My favourite games from the last few years would be Red dead redemption 2, Genshin Impact and Rust. Game Idea Research

 Game Idea Research From my previous blog, I have given some thought on what I wanted to do. I decided to go with the following idea taken from my previous blog "For this idea I want the player to experience an open world like in GTA where you can drive around in the cars of your choice. In this game I want to create a map where there are coins or some thing scattered around the map. The map will have ramps and building with hidden coins. There will also be score which will award the player with coins currency which they can later use to get faster cars. An example of why you would want a faster car is not only because It's faster and cooler, but it will also allow player to get other coins that only a certain car can obtain. Let's say there is a ramp with a coin in the air. A slow car cannot reach the coin but a faster and better car can reach the coin. With the coins you can also customize whatever vehicle you have.
