Above you can see a screenshot from my first playable game. In this version you can drive the car around and the map being built is in progress. I used a free asset off of the unity asset store for the car as I wanted something that looked somewhat sporty.

I haven't had any issues as of yet creating my game I just feel I need to put in a good amount of time creating the map as I feel it is fairly slow creating different assets.

I feel that the past tutorials that I have done have a played a good part in making my game as I find it easier to make the vehicle move because I've done it before because of the tutorials.

I think that If I keep working on the game at a steady pace I'll be able to make it well.

    Hey Endijs,
    Firstly, I really enjoyed reading your blog this week! I love the visuals for your game.Its coming on great! Im glad you had no issues yet with creating your game. Have you considered watching youtube tutorials ? to help you with creating code for your game. It might be useful. If you work on your game week by week you should have a great finished product.
    Hope your game goes well, I cant wait to see it finished.

    Hey Endijs, Great blog so far really enjoyed reading through your game posts so far. Your game is looking pretty good so far , the car prototype is actually looking nice , it suits the look your going for. Its good you haven't had any problems yet , sometimes unity can be very annoying especially with the small little things. I agree what your saying about the past tutorials are helping you , i am also doing a racing sort of game and honestly there is some really goof tutorials on YouTube, i found a good few when i was making my car game . Hopefully all your controls work well , i found that hard to get right and feel right when your driving around the map. Looking forward to seeing your final game soon

 BETA This week I made my game a bit better by giving it some life. I created a terrain that I was happy with after I searched for a youtube video that helped me create terrain. I really liked exploring and creating the terrain and wish I could have made the terrain in my game be more of thing everywhere on the map rather than having some flat paths. I also changed my car as I was running issues where it drove backwards when i wanted it go forward but when I changed to a different car that seemed to fix it. Project "Game Brainstorm"

 Project "Game Brainstorm" As it currently stands I am not set on a game idea but hopefully by the end of this blog post I shall have come to a conclusion of what type of video game I want to make for my project. So for now I will be listing possible game ideas and I will talk about each idea and how I will interpret it. 4 Ideas that I have include : 1. A fishing game Yes this idea says fishing. It says fishing because I love doing it in real life especially going out on a boat and fishing. For this idea I wanted something basic where the mechanics aren't very complicated and the player can quickly understand what the goal of the game is. I want to make the player be on a boat with fish being bellow the boat in the water. Alpha Game

 Alpha Game This is a image of my developing game. As you can see the map has taken a much better turn from since last time. I think my game is progressing well. I am happy with the progress I am making because I feel the game I was going for is turning out to be a good choice as the previous tutorials have been a great help so far. I have hidden these yellow ball collectibles around the map and some can even be found on top of houses. When you drive into them they disappear which let's the player know that they have been collected. I have added trees from my prototype. I got assets for the homes and the car for free off of the unity store. There is still a lot I want to do with the game before next week but I feel the basic premise of the game is there so I will keep working on it and making it better.
