 My Introduction Hello. my name is Endijs Frisvalds, I am a second year student at TU Blanchardstown and I am studying creative digital media. I am 19 years old living in Clondalkin a good 2 hour bus ride away from college. In my free time I love going fishing or staying home and playing video games while my pet cat Simba sleeps in my bed doing whatever cats do. READING 12 (BOOK)

My chapter in the book reflection In this blog post I will go through the chapter that I did for the book we did as a class. The chapter that I decided to work on was called "How game help people find joy and fullfillment". Looking back now I should've done something that I could go into more detail about because the chapter ended up being fairly short but I still think it was a great chapter for what it was. I talked about why people feel happy while playing games and how it effects them. I also created a small illustration for my chapter which is an image that you'll see below this blog post. I personally had a hard time understanding the reading tasks for the book this semester as I felt they were very jumbled and I had to search for my own readings to do which made me unmotivated as I felt it was hard for me to be able to search for exactly that I needed and when I did search I always ended up finding useless information that may be false and misleading. Unity tutorial 11 - My experience

Unity tutorial 11 - My experience  This week I did the unity tutorial called Lesson 6.1 Project Optimazation as I did not know what tutorial would help me with my game and I felt game optimization is very important. While doing this tutorial I ran into zero problems but I didn't enjoy the tutorial as it didn't feel like game optimization but a tutorial for making the past tutorials differently with preset code that I had to install and delete old scripts and replace them. I wish the tutorials was more focused on optimization. I didn't know any more tutorials that I could do that would help me with my game but something I did do was go on youtube and research terrain. I learned how to make terrain from youtube videos and what I had learned has been implemented into my game already.  This is an image from the tutorials and you can see nothing really has changed on it other than the object pooler I added in the spawn manager from this tutorial.
